Mystery of the Genii's Lamp

The magician displays a stack of jumbo cards. Ten cards showing a magic Geni and ten cards illustrating magic lamps. These are slowly and openly counted by the spectator verifying all is fair. A story is told of a millennial conclave held by the Genis to decide on a new “Grand Master Geni”. During the event an evil sorcerer steals one of the lamps thinking the Geni’s magic powers are obtained form the lamp. When the lamp is discovered missing, a challenge is made stating that if any one of the Genis can recover the lamp he would be considered worthy of the title “Grand Master Geni”. If he failed, he would become the slave of the evil sorcerer. Finally one Geni steps forward to accept the challenge and silently utters the magic words. The other Genis are called to come forward and each is instructed to take a lamp. One by one the lamps are taken until all of the Genis have lamps including the new “Grand Master Geni”. The magic lamp has been recovered and it all took place in the spectator’s hands!
